Supporting data-driven decision making and planning by public officials, foundations and community organizations

We advance a future in which low income and vulnerable people truly have access to quality education, are safe from violent crime and counter-productive law enforcement policies, and are able to fully participate in our democratic system.

We expand opportunity for vulnerable people by creating large-scale change in the huge systems that determine the scope of options for poor residents - police protection affects freedom from crime; the school system impacts opportunity to learn and do all the things learning makes possible; access to information about resources affects ability to become an active agent in one's own life and participate in improving one's community.
